Fresh Fruit Friday in Knoxville

The Commons on Bridge and The Commons at Knoxville in Knoxville, TN hosted a fruit free for all at their Fresh Fruit Friday event in their clubhouse.  Fresh fruit was available all day, for mealtime or snack time, for their residents. What better way to kick off the weekend than with a healthy snack!

GrandMarc Pump Up with Kindness Event

GrandMarc at the Corner in Charlottesville, VA used their residents’ creativity and talent to pump up some kindness into the community.  The staff at GrandMarc provided the paint, decorations and pumpkins and the residents got to work decorating.  The team also provided yummy snacks to get the creative juices flowing.  Pumpkins were judged and great prizes were given to the winners.  But the best prize of all was knowing that these beautiful pumpkins will be used to brighten the day of others in the community.  All pumpkins were donated to a local nursing home to help spread some fall cheer.

The Retreat’s Safety Seminar

The Retreat at Oxford in Oxford, MS partnered with the Oxford Police Department to  educate their residents with some helpful information about safety.  Officer Tony Carlton  held a General Safety seminar for all Retreat at Oxford residents. Officer Carlton went over personal safety, home security, and traveling safety in his seminar.  Residents were able to ask questions and gain some valuable insight on a topic that is often times overlooked.  In addition to all of the helpful information that each resident took away from the event, The Retreat hooked them up with some pretty cool swag too.  Each resident that attended received a Retreat magnetic koozie, blender bottle, and popsocket!

RAW at The Province

The Province in Kent, OH celebrated its residents with a week full of fun, food and furry love.  The week started with smoothies to kick start the week in a healthy way.  Next residents relieved some stress and let their creative juices flow at a pumpkin painting event.  Indoor smores were on tap for Wednesday.  On Thursday volunteers from the organization Paws and Prayers brought in some adoptable animals for residents to play and snuggle with.  And the team wrapped up the week with cookies and cocoa and good weekend vibes.  Resident Appreciation Week for the win!

GrandMarc at the Corner Appreciates Their Residents and It Shows

GrandMarc at the Corner in Charlottesville, VA appreciates their residents and showed them during their Resident Appreciation Week.  The team spoiled residents with free food, helpful advice and even helped spread some love to those in need.  The week featured a chicken and pizza night and volleyball tournament.  The team also went door to door and handed out goody bags with helpful safety tips.  And to wrap the week up, the team encouraged residents to donate for their HOOS HI FOR HUMANITY drive.  The drive was for victims of Hurricane Harvey and Irma. Residents were encouraged to stop by the lobby during office hours and give donations of toiletries, water bottles, and other disaster relief items.  Nothing beats being appreciated, except being appreciated and giving back.

Fit Friday in Fort Collins

Lokal Apartments, Pura Vida Place, and Carriage House in Fort Collins, CO helped their residents celebrate Fri-YAY in a healthy way.  They call it Fit Friday and fit it is!  The teams gave residents passes to a free boxing class to get in a great sweat session over the weekend.  And to go along with a great workout, you need great hydration.  The teams also hooked their residents up with   free water bottles and mint flavored water. 21765133_1965780243698883_8027589479334064204_n
